Verdict writes an honest "Perfect for / Skip if" panel on every supplement page — pregnancy safety, medication interactions, allergens, age dosing. Shoppers self-qualify on the PDP. Refund rates drop. The right buyers convert faster.
For: multivitamins, prenatal, electrolytes, probiotics, sleep, adaptogens, kids' vitamins · No medical claims — only fit guidance shoppers already ask in DMs
EXAMPLE — what shoppers see on a real supplement PDP
Prenatal Multi Essentials (3-capsule daily)
A complete prenatal multivitamin with methylated folate (800mcg), choline (300mg), iron (27mg), and DHA. Formulated for women trying to conceive through 12 months postpartum. Third-party tested for purity.
✓ Perfect for you if…
You're TTC, pregnant in any trimester, or breastfeeding
You want methylated folate (better absorbed for MTHFR carriers)
You're not currently taking a separate iron or choline supplement
You can swallow medium-large capsules (no liquid or gummy alternative)
You want third-party tested for heavy metals
⚠ Skip if…
You're already taking an iron supplement — total daily iron can exceed 45mg safely only under OB guidance
You experience first-trimester nausea triggered by iron — talk to your OB about a low-iron prenatal first
You have a fish allergy — this includes DHA from sardine/anchovy oil
You're under 18 or post-menopause — this is dosed specifically for pregnancy

🤰
Pregnancy + medication safety
Verdict auto-includes the standard pregnancy and breastfeeding disclaimers, common medication interactions (SSRIs, blood thinners, thyroid meds), and the "consult your doctor" line where required. Editable, but the default is conservative.
⚠
Allergen + dietary call-outs
Reads ingredient + allergen metafields and surfaces "Skip if you have a fish/dairy/soy/tree-nut allergy" automatically. Vegan, gluten-free, kosher, and top-9-allergen-free flags propagate to the panel.
📊
Age + dosing fit guidance
Kids' vitamins, prenatal, senior formulas, and pregnancy-stage-specific packs all need age and life-stage routing. Verdict generates per-SKU "Perfect for ages X to Y / Skip if outside that range" without you writing a single bullet.
Connects in one click. Reads your full catalog, ingredient metafields, allergen tags, and product taxonomy.
2
Generate with conservative defaults
Pregnancy and medication disclaimers default on. The AI errs toward "talk to your doctor" wording, then you edit for your brand voice.
3
Approve, publish, monitor
Every panel goes to Draft first. You review, edit, publish. Track engagement and conversion lift from the analytics dashboard.
Supplement brand FAQ
What supplement merchants ask before installing.
Does Verdict make health claims I'd be legally responsible for?
No. Verdict only generates fit and contraindication guidance — the kind your customer service team already writes in DMs and email replies. It does not claim a supplement treats, cures, or prevents any condition. The "Skip if" bullets specifically use risk-reduction language ("Skip if you're on SSRIs — discuss with your doctor first") rather than diagnostic claims.
How does it handle pregnancy and breastfeeding warnings?
By default, Verdict includes a "Skip if pregnant or breastfeeding unless cleared by your OB" line on any supplement that triggers caution — adaptogens, high-dose vitamin A, melatonin, herbal blends, weight-loss support, hormone-targeted formulas. You can edit, soften, or strengthen the language. Prenatal-specific SKUs get the opposite framing ("Perfect for TTC through 12 months postpartum").
What about Prop 65 and FDA disclosures?
Verdict doesn't replace your legal disclaimer block — those should still live in product descriptions or your standardized footer. The Verdict panel sits alongside, not instead. If you ship to California, keep your Prop 65 warning where it is; Verdict's panel is purely about fit and contraindications.
Will it interact correctly with my existing reviews / Klaviyo / subscription apps?
Yes — Verdict is a passive panel that lives in a Theme App Block. It doesn't fight with Loox, Judge.me, Klaviyo, ReCharge, Skio, or any other Shopify ecosystem app. Stacks cleanly on every supplement-friendly theme we've tested (Dawn, Refresh, Impulse, Prestige, Be Yours).
Can I edit the AI's output to match my brand's tone?
Yes. Every bullet is inline-editable. Edits are preserved across regenerations. Growth plan adds per-category prompt tuning so the AI learns your tone ("scientific and clean," "warm and accessible," "no-BS direct").
Does it work for high-SKU brands (200+ products)?
Yes. Bulk generation handles 1000+ products without blocking. Average generation time is 20–35 seconds per supplement (slightly slower than skincare due to ingredient complexity). Scale plan covers unlimited published panels.
